David joined Umpqua Investments in 2009 as part of a team consisting of Tinh Nguyen, Douglas Eikenberry and their assistant Colleen Schriever. Between David, Doug and Tinh, they hold over 50 years experience as financial advisors.
David's team is focused on working with high net-worth individuals, business owners, and corporate and charitable foundations. The team’s specialties include investment management, retirement planning, education planning, managing concentrated-equity positions, insurance planning and liability planning.
David graduated from the University of Oregon in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in German. He maintains his FINRA Series 7, 65 and 66 licenses. He holds insurance licenses in Oregon, Washington, California, Arizona and New York.
David's interests include golf, travel, and enjoying live music. He is active in his church and performs a variety of volunteer activities. He and his wife, Gaylene, live in Portland, Oregon and are blessed with two daughters, Madison and Shannon.
